The Opfikon Municipal Archives are responsible for acquiring, cataloguing and preserving records covering more than six hundred years of the town's history.
The archive holdings document the decisions and actions of the municipal authorities and administration in an organized manner, ensuring their authenticity and comprehensibility for the future.
The archive database provides access to the Opfikon Municipal Archives. It gives an overview of all the municipal archive's holdings and allows users to search the inventory data and the archive catalogue. Records worthy of archiving from the 2017 year onwards are digitally archived. The digital archives of the municipality can be accessed under the reference number A.1.4.
